What We Ate For Breakfast

I had an acai bowl this morning.I dont have any frozen acai packs but i do have raw acai powder from viva-pure.co.uk
You can just blend with bananas and a little honey of agave nectar.Today i put in-
Pitted Dates
Bananas
Frozen Coconut Meat (taken from a fresh coconut that i had just froze so it wouldnt go off)
Frozen strawberries ( i buy organic reduced and freeze)
Kale (Always sneak greens in everywhere)

I topped with what i had to hand-
Goji Berries (Detoxtrading)
Mulberries (Detoxtrading)
Chocolate Nibs (Holland & Barrett)
Raw Pumpkin Seeds (detoxtrading)
Buckwheat (Crunchy yum)

The twins had a morning smoothie of-

Bananas
Filtered water
Raw Acai Powder
Kale
Frozen Coconut Meat
Frozen Strawberries
Raw Agave Nectar
Reishi Mushroom
Himalyan Salt

Then as you can see i had to fight them off from my acai bowl:
They enjoy playing then running back for mouthfuls of mums breakfast. They also munched on some "happy kale" crisps flavoured in chocolate & coconut.
When they woke they had the orange, ginger, lemon & lime juice i made last night.
Theres an insight into our family breakfast this morning. All of this takes less time than making porridge. And is much more advanced in nutrition. The most work it takes is putting it all in a blender and switching it on.I just make it up as it goes and let my inner voice tell me what we need. When you listen to that voice you will know exactly how to eat.For example when it is the womans time of the month her voice usually tells her chocolate.Well we are all deficient in essential mineral magnesium.Even more so on our monthly cycle, chocolate (eat a delicious raw bar as the cheap chemical popular  brands are a very poor choice) is super high in magnesium which is why your body is sending you to that direction.
Anyway,
Have a Happy Healthy Monday,
Love Jen

A Happy Sunday

I had a really bad morning.I was surrounded by negative people and their behaviour. It rubbed off on me.It had been a while since id de-cluttered, bought fresh flowers and invited positivity into my home.Today was the day.
First an act of self love by having for breakfast a nourishing start:
Vanilla Hemp Milk
Mulberries
Chocolate Nibs
Buckwheat
Big Dollop of Raw Honey

I went out with the family running a few errands, i grabbed a jacket potato and beans but i felt tired, irritated, moody and dehydrated after.Cooked food is robbed of water content, so it is dehydrating.and id been eating ALOT of cooked food lately.Mild dehydration causes anger, fatigue and mood swings.I am highly sensitive to my body's  reactions now i have felt what it feels like to feel my absolute BEST.And i feel my best with live water rich food.
I invited round my like minded friend and her husband and it worked a treat.I fed off her energy and felt like me again. When she left i completely cleansed the kitchen and fridge, de-cluttered two whole binbags of toys, washed my produce, made some juices and a hearty salad.I had a bunch of ripe little peeler oranges to use up so i peeled them all for the twins to drink in the morning with added ginger, lemon and lime. Now if thats not an act of love i dont know what is! I could be watching tv but i get better satisfaction watching them gulp down REAL sunny D! I watched my favourite healthy advocate Dara Dubinet on youtube during. She really has the most beautiful empowering spirit.
Everything is energy and is connected. When you are making something for someone like a meal your love energy is going into that meal.So be happy when you are making it!
I soaked my produce in water and some grapefruit seed extract that kills mold and toxins from the supermarket.Aren't they pretty autumnal colours?
I used my cheap salad spinner to drain off the excess water so i wasnt storing soggy greens...
..Bagged them up ready to go for a salad in a hurry (or to add to a smoothie)
My pre-dinner starter was 1 litre of green juice consisting of what i had-
Apples
Pineapple
Lime
Lemon
Ginger
Celery
Spinach
Brussel Sprouts

I had marinated some beautiul shittake mushrooms that have a meaty texture in some raw honey and soy sauce (out of tamari)...
Then threw them into a salad of mixed things i had. There is also shaved raw broccoli in there.Mushrooms also contain vitamin D the happy mood enhancing vitamin! The marinade from the mushrooms coated it well and the combined texture of the mushrooms with sun dried tomatoes was larvelyyyy...

I had picked up two cheery bouquets fr £2.50 each, made a large bunch in a mason jar and split up the 2nd into smaller ones around the home..
A beautiful rainy night. When it rains it releases negative ions (i think!) into the atmosphere which is why it feels fresh and crisp after the rainfall. It is also literally a cleanser of the air!..

Flowers are great in feng shui as they literally absorb negative energy from your home as they perish...
It wasn't till the end of the night i realised why i had felt like id lost my mojo.
My brother had been living with me for 6 weeks, 1st time away from home and i was a little drained.I tried hard to help him start his new life here but in the end his heart wasn't in it and he returned home.He did however go home a vegan and mostly raw! He arrived a dairy loving meat eater BUT was exhausted, regularly needed naps (at 20!) and had bad acne.He went home a new person but left me a less shinier version of myself. When i spent time with my lovely friend Annie (who has recently turned veggie with her hub and is planning on going vegan. Her mum has too!) i realised how true it is to surround yourself with the right people who you bounce and feed off.
Goodnight, love, positivity and health to you all..

Feel Rawnchy!

Back in the gymnasium hon-ayyy!
My gym has a creche, if your a parent or guardian
looking to get fit again there are many options.

My twins have been in the gym creche a couple times just for an hour before but they started a couple afternoons a week at a local nursery next to my house.
Im excited i get to workout much more as this directly affects my mood and positivity.
I also have a running buggy/stroller which ive run miles in
I got the running buggy idea from this fitness model and mum to 2 boys , she has a cool website too:

and an extensive collection of workout dvds from ballet to yoga.
My dad was in the army and went away regularly for 6 months. My mum had just had my brother, when he left she was 12 stone and when he arrived home she was 8.(Shes only 5 foot too)
What a suprise that was for him seeing her so fit.She bought some home gym equipment of weights and every night when she put all three of us to bed she hit the gym and her callenetics dvd.
If you dont workout for your body at least workout for your mood!
Children as lovely as they are, are very testing on your patience and sanity.

Heres a few inspiring pics of how this fit mum fits it into her day. When the twins were younger i used to use them as weights like this they used to giggle and enjoy it so much.I would lay them beside each other and take turns :)

People say they dont have time to exercise but funnily enough these same people can tell you exactly what is going on in all the tv soaps.
Get your blood circulating and your lymph fluid moving, get rid of those dead cells, however can you feel alive!
Lots of love,
A pumped up Jen xx

Delicious Cereal

This is the only type of cereal i will have and its DELICIOUS.Not to mention so incredibly nutritious for you.Did you know regular cereals have synthetic (fake man-made) vitamins added because they are so devalued of nutrition they are not allowed to be sold as "food" (i use that term lightly) without them? Really dont grow your beautiful cells with that junk please.

Freeze Dried Red Fruits from healthy-supplies.co.uk
Raw Cacao Nibs From Holland & Barrett
Bee Pollen From indigo-herbs.co.uk
Raw Buckwheat From Amazon (I soaked this overnight in water with lots of room in the bowl then dehydrated in my excalibur until crunchy. This activates the enzymes and can also be done in an oven low heat with the door ajar)

Mango Mania

Heres a fave you can make in 5 minutes at nighttime for a morning nutritional powerhouse for you, your family, your lovers, your flatmates.
Its basically mangoes & chia seeds.
It would work well also with bananas.
I took 3 of these huge Pakistani mangoes
and 2 smaller ones & 5 TB of chia.It really dosent matter the amount of fruit & seeds you use as the seeds expand like a gel and are tasteless so they take whatever they are mixed with.So experiment!
Let it set for at least 20 mins after blending as if u consume right away the chia will expand and rob the hydration in your body. You want it to absorb the moisture of the fruit. It will keep u full too. This will keep a couple days, chia are gret for a healthy brain, protein and for extending your life plus the shelf life of your pudding.I gave chia puddings to the twins early on also.

Lots of fruity love,
Jen xxx

Chocolate Chips

Here is a good chocolate replacement.Carob is kid friendly as it is high in protein, iron & calcium and contains no caffeine. These carob chips are also unsweetened.I take these out as bribery snacks and sometimes mix in some freeze dried fruit.I think i got both from healthy-supplies.co.uk.The freeze dried strawberries are particularly delicious!

With freeze dried black berries..

Lots of love,
Jen xxx
