Hydration Energy Juice

Heres my morning juice today. Its actually my 2nd but i had the beet one i posted 1st yesterday.
I like high water content foods in the morning (and daytime) to clear the body, get things moving and get hydrated for te day ahead. If your dehydrated even mildly (you can lose upto 120ml water an hour at night i once read) you can experience irritability, mood swings, fatigue (and we want energy!) and weight gain.
When i rise, i drink from 500ml-1 litre water every morning before anything.I hand squeeze a lemon or lime in it and add a couple things like organic aloe vera juice, chlorophyll and grapefruit seed extract.
My 2nd juice today was the base of my favourite fruit. The Watermelon.

In your juicer use-
-Half a sliced watermelon without rind.
-1 Punnet Strawberries  (Keep the green tops on)
-1 De-Skinned Lime
-1/2 Unwaxed Lemon with skin

No Seedless watermelon please. You wont detect the seeds in the juice, they contain nutrients and if a fruit cant reproduce itself (think seedless grapes) then its been messed around with and not a smart move to eat it.(@rawmamanature told me this and knows more on the subject)
Unwaxed lemons are the best option too.Supermarkets put wax on fruits to make them shinier and more appealable. You don't really want to drink that.If you cant get any give a really good scrub.
Keeping the green tops on strawberries is best because there are actually more nutrients in the greens than the strawberry itself.
And now for the science:

So the lesson you've learned today is:
 More hydration, more energy!
Our bodies are made up of 70 per cent water and is the same ratio of solid matter to ocean on planet earth!
Funny enough the water ratio in fruits is around about the same!
Apples are approx 85% water, bananas are 80%,blueberrys are 80%,kiwi is 70% and mango 75%.See how mother nature links everything together?
When the body is dehydrated it causes internal stress on our cells.It has been found in some cases of very deep depression,the brain can be dehydrated to as much as 40 per cent of its batural capacity.To learn more check out this amazing book;
I aim for almost a litre of water or raw vegetable juice 30 minutes before each main meal. Our family have raw carrot juice before dinner.
Lots of love,
Jen xxx
